There had been many misconceptions about the world of art. When someone is asked about what it means to belong there, they would give you an answer of two extremes. One would be of that quintessential type who is talented, yet in his dedication, is often unappreciated.

The other is the one who can practically sell anything, yet lacks an element of mystery in his works and therefore overrated. Either way, it is a beautiful world. For what would mankind be without the likes of caricature artist Sarasota.

You see, there is a fire inside everyone, burning for a passion that only the thing they love to do the most, something they are born for, will be able to light. You do not want to settle for something, no matter how bug the pay is, if it would end up with a regret or two, later in your life.

Because that is what passion of doing something like this, entails. You scream for it, long for it, that you really become quite restless if you do not follow your heart in desiring this kind of art, or any form for that matter. It is simply not something you one just easily ignores.

Try looking at funhouse posters and books for children, even leading magazines or newspapers. Get to the page where the illustrations are. Something you see there is a stretched and squished, a representation of something much more profound. It is meant to have been drawn to create humuor while provoking opinion. That is caricature.

Try to hone your art. Take that as the first step in embracing your talent, if you ave not done that yet. For example, try signing up for a painting course, or drawing. While you can have the advanced classes meant for caricature, it is better if you start with the basics and explore first.

While it can be fun and also fulfilling, it is not a career where you can expect to get high salary. This is why it is not for those who wish to get rich, but rather it is a dream chased only by the few who knows what it demands. Which is your heart and soul for it. Art, you see, is something you have to be in love with, so that you can bring yourself to pursue it.

When you thirst for it, know that you will not be rewarded with plenty of money, but you will survive. Know that you will have an even better reward in a sense of self fulfillment. That it would be something which can fill so many voids you thought existed. Sure, you may be misunderstood, often underrated. But that is not why you are doing it in the first place.

Only you can shape what you will turn out to be. And if being a full pledged caricature artist is one of them, then you can do that too. Know the tricks for those who makes their work known by showing them to the public. Be where people are, and sell your art, without having to explain yourself about it.
