The art of impressionism was very influential especially in the 19th century, but not so many people had embraced it. Impressionist prints are a unique kind of artistry that tends to be conspicuous, and they are meant to objectively and accurately record a visual reality by the use of transient effects like color and light. This kind of artistry has, therefore, become one of the most widely recognized artifacts that are on display.

The drawings were so revolutionary as they differed from most of the classical or fantastical scenes. This is because of the use of this technique of broken brushstrokes to depict the real life that emphasized the overall impression of a place. They were mostly thought to have an unfinished look. This kind of artistic struggled to be popular.

In the old days, many paintings that captured impressionism were rejected in exhibitions by the artwork organizations. This made the rejected painters to from their exhibition centers to display their art that was very different from the classical standards of painting. However, the public did not readily accept them thus it was a big struggle for them.

After some years, one renowned artiste came up with a unique painting which he named impression. He then later began a movement and named it the impressionism which was meant to empower painters. It was however unfortunate that the public badly received the movement, but after several years, they started to embrace the new form of artistry in the society.

Since many people were now accepting the movement, it started growing at a very high rate. An association was then formed to help the artists to showcase their works independently. 3,500 people attended the show in which 30 artistes showcased 165 paintings. Although there are painters who later decided not to take part in the exhibitions anymore, the ones who remained continued with the art.

As years passed by, this form of art was now widely accepted by the public as it impressed so many people. In fact, this kind of art became so influential in such a way that it redefined the way people expressed themselves through art. This encouraged many more painters to come up and showcase their works without fear of ridicule from the public.

At first, people were shocked to see this form of art as they were not used to see paintings that are done in such bright colors. They were used to cool colors because most of the classical painters used golden paints that were thick to tone their paintings down. To add to that, the impressionist painters used liked using colors that were bright and vivid in their drawings.

Most of the drawings captured modernity such as suburbs and even some rural settings. Some painters focused on the day to day life of these villagers while others focused on urban settings. Landscapes were also prominent figures in these drawings, but the painters who focused more on modernization included railways and factories.
