There are instances in life when you or a team requires all the motivation you can gather. Poems that motivate are some of the best options available. They are written using carefully selected words that inspire the reader. They talk to the situation of the reader in a way that lifts the burden that he or she may be carrying. The author is a renowned spiritual counselor who also doubles as a story teller. In her view, everyone has a place and role to play in the world. The only way the potential of the world will be achieved is when each stops playing second fiddle. Each has a call to serve the world with own talent and ability.

The Latin word word Invictus is translated to mean unbowed or unconquered. This is the title given to the work of Henley Ernest William. This poem was composed alongside others as she was struggling with an amputated foot. The main message in this poem is for people to be responsible of the situations they encounter in life. Challenges should not turn you into a failure.

Robert Frost is famous for his poem The Road Not Taken. He captures the dilemma and agony of making a decision to follow a certain path and not the other. Making the decision also comes with rewards that are unique to the path. He inspires people to choose the unique paths because the gains are yet to be taken.

If I Can Stop One Heart From Breaking verse is credited to Emily Dickinson. Like many poems of its kind, it lacks a title and thus has to be regarded using the first line. This author was known for compressing her message in a few words yet creating tremendous impact. The message captured is very straight forward and simplified.
