In the western art, nude figure basically is a tradition which has always been used in the expression the beauty of the man and the woman and other qualities found in a human. In the ancient Greek, it was an occupation which was central and after some period in the Middle Ages, it returned to that middle spot in western art though with a new beginning. You are going to find male and female nude drawings with different poses from people such as warriors, dancers and athletes.

Every drawing expresses a certain emotion always evident whenever you look at it. Some portray just basic feelings while others complex emotions. In one sense, a nude is a fine piece of fine art and the subject is an unclothed human body finally creating the subject genre of art in same way as landscapes and still life. Nude persons play a part in other types of art such as history painting, religious art, portraiture and decorative arts.

Modern artists have gone ahead to explore classical themes and also more theoretical representations and move away from idealization to give a picture of people more individually. In the twentieth century, giving a picture of human beauty was of little interest to the people who were instead concerned about the creation of beauty through formal means. However, some artists continue to find inspiration in human form.

Viewers of nude drawings are expected to get aroused and have erotic feelings by some of them thinking that when and individual poses naked is an embarrassment and if this feelings are not present, then it can be regarded as a bad drawing. A viewer having the urge to looking at the drawing more and more should be the responsibility of the artist especially if the drawing is of the opposite sex to the viewer.

In Europe you will find examples of arts that were produced long ago but were not intended for public display but you will find them displayed publicly. In this modern world, the judgment of whether particular work is artistic or pornographic is a subject that has been changing over the years. Most will think that public display of the nude drawings is unacceptable while others find it alright.

In a good number of museums globally, you realize that feminine nudes are more popular. Nakedness portrayed in illustrations in the States has been a topic which has caused disagreements at any time such illustrations are portrayed in various venues where the community have to observe it. Just like other topics, everybody has their dissimilar opinions, some take it optimistically while others unenthusiastically.

There are inevitable questions that tend to be asked by students whenever they attend museums and find those nude male and females. Teachers and tour guides must always be prepared to answer such questions which sometimes may seem embarrassing. The advice that should be given to teachers and guides is to be able to provide the facts to the students and being able to explain the emotions and feelings expressed by every artistic work.

If the works being displayed are classical, then its ethical that you do not show nudes of a child as they should be displayed as a symbol of innocence. Nude drawings generally should express feelings and emotions.
