From the past until the present generation there are different cultures in coexisting with one another. The only difference is that now days they are widely accepted and they have equal rights to education and opportunity. When one would look at this present day society, one could say that humanity now is building a bridge to better understanding of the different and unique. There are cultural fair nm, that relays a message to a lot of people that diversity in culture should be accepted.

When one would reflect on the acts of the people in the past, who valued control and supremacy over life and equality. One could say that people have gone past those acts of cruelty and have now come to conclusion that above power and control life is priceless.

Because when you look back in those difficult moments in history, when people from different countries were judged to be inferior, some enslaved and mistreated. Those cruel times when different was viewed as a flaw and people were treated like animals that can easily be disposed.

It is a lively event that marks the beginning of a deeper understanding and appreciation towards culture and traditions. As one would observe these events, are filled with joy and respect. It is hard to imagine that there was ever dispute and disagreement when it comes to culture.

But no matter how many time one would try to disregard, cultural biases, slavery, and discriminations did mark history. Lives were disregarded and people were treated unevenly, if one from this generation would go back to the past when the society showed utmost cruelty it would surely cause devastation and remorse.

The good things about this generation and time, people have become more open to the difference within each one and have embrace this fact the deepest core in their human values. The main purpose of cultural fairs is to in still to the hearts of different individual that though people are divided by culture everyone is united and connected as human beings.

What is the difference in culture back then and now. That the then, could not accept diversity of culture. You ask yourself what it is, that made society so bias against other culture and other people from different parts of the world.

Why people act the way they did, to be able to treat a fellow human being as a slave, as a thing that can be replaced anytime. If you re read the course of history, you would be confused as to why people back then could be so cruel, exchanging a living breathing human being for money.

And students from other countries would wear their traditional clothing which makes it a very colourful and unique event. There are plenty of activities, that they share and enjoy and by the end of it, all would come up with the conclusion, that regardless if they come from different parts of the world, each and every one are made to be different yet the same.
