Putting them in areas with high temperatures like boiling water also does kill the ailment pathogens in them.

Everything people does have a price to pay hence some things should be avoided. Piercings do cause immune weakening and people have high risks of having diseases when they shared objects are used without disinfecting them. Freedom comes with responsibility hence the freedom people have should not be misused to cause harm to their health.
