List the stuff that you want. It would be so much easier making a choice from all the wide array of interesting stuff that are resent though when you know exactly what you need. Listing down possible stuff that you might find interesting is always a good way of doing the shopping in a more organized fashion. Plus, it helps you avoid those instances when you might pick up stuff you do not really want or need.

Set a budget, you need to limit the amount you're really willing to spend. It is always easy to end up spending more than what you intend. You do not what to have to splurge way too much in the end too. So, what you can do instead is take the time to find out about how much your budget limitation is. Since you are only allowed to paying cash, just bring enough.

Be sure to take your time too, you want to make sure that you will spend enough time looking through all these stash of possibly interesting stuff that the sellers have to offer. Make sure to take a peek at all the nooks and crannies and you will find that it is going to be easier to make very sound decisions when you are not trying to rush things.

Expect that some of the items being sold aren't really cleaned. Some are items that have been left in the basement or in the house's attic for a long time. Expect that some of them are going to be dusty and grimy. As a buyer, it helps when you are willing to exert some effort to get them cleaned. It helps to be picky too. It is easy to end up picking out stuff that you might think as interesting at first and then only to find out later that they are not really that good. Try to be a little to critical when deciding which ones you should consider checking out or not. This way, you get to really choose the best from the erst of the stash that are around.

Do not forget to haggle too. This is a very good opportunity for you to get a good price for the items that you want- better than the original numbers that the sellers have quoted these items for.
